Well we have just launched the new web page for Greyhound Racing South Australia. Hope you enjoy - it coincides with a new big promotion this month and their Greyhound Bunnies Competition. Go along and have a look www.grsa.com.au or better still why not enjoy a nice Summer Night at the dogs. It is a lot of fun.

E-learning - by George I think they are getting it - the junket is almost dead
In the last short while I have finally heard OH&S Managers,Personnel Managers and Training Managers acknowledge the need for change in traditional training techniques. Of course there will always be a place for face to face training as certain things must be done face to face, but the advent of on-line and blended training is now being understood at a corporate level.
The interesting thing is I do not believe it is just the financial meltdown that is causing the changed attitude. The discussions I have been having around the issues of disrupting an employees lifestyle, to have people away from their desk for too long have shown an inherent understanding of the change required as Gen Y permeate the workforce.
It is time to think aggressively about how we move forward and we at CCM have been working diligently to change the way we think and how to deliver in the new age. Please feel free to enquire how you can take advantage of new technology.

Company, director, fined over workplace death
I do not wish to seem to be some kind of vulture in highlighting this type of Court finding, but it is essential that business of any size comes quickly to terms with the need to train, maintain and continually monitor the workplace for Safe work practices.
Accidents do happen, it is an unfortunate fact of life. It can be minimized by constant vigilance and maintenance of knowledge and people management.
We at CCM through our product Capable have designed a system that is not simply a training management platform. It is designed as a constructive management tool to help businesses from the smallest to the largest to protect themselves, their employees and their assets against events such as this.
Please read the article and understand the importance of improving the management outcomes and protecting all parties involved from such a disastrous outcome.

Snakes are Dangerous in the Bush

You will excuse me for being a little tounge in cheek on this topic particularly in light of our article below.
I picked up this article via EDNA and could not help but write about it. As an organisation committed to E-Learning and Learning/Social Communities one can only commend this initiative.
Well done.....
